Dave Suding's workday

Mostly spent trying to find a comfortable drawing position, if John Sparey's cartoon is to be believed... Dave S. started at Disney as an apprentice inbetweener in 1955, and retired from Disney as an animator in 1997 after working there forty-two years. (Dave did a two-year stint as TAG's Sergeant-at-arms in the early 'seventies.) John's rendering of Mr. Suding's struggles with his animation desk were early in Dave's tenure at 500 S. Buena Vista Street, Burbank. It pretty much speaks for itself. Go here for an index of our posts of John Sparey art.
